Getting started

How do I vectorize my first image?

Open Nodal, sign in with your email, then drop a PNG, JPEG or WEBP onto the Vectorize page. Pick a detail level and download the SVG.

Which detail level should I pick?

Simple for logos, icons and flat artwork. Detailed for illustrations with shading. Auto looks at the image and chooses for you.

I didn't get the sign-in email.

Check your spam folder and wait a minute. Links expire after 20 minutes, so request a fresh one if it's older than that.

Getting the best results

My result has too many small shapes.

Switch to Simple, or start from a cleaner, larger image. JPEG noise and blurry edges turn into extra shapes.

The colours look slightly off.

Nodal groups similar colours into regions. Click a shape in the editor to recolour it, or swap a colour everywhere at once.

Can I open the SVG in Illustrator, Figma or Inkscape?

Yes. The SVG uses plain paths and standard linear and radial gradients that every editor understands.

Credits, plans and billing

What happens if a vectorization fails?

The credit is returned to your account automatically.

How do I cancel a subscription?

In PayPal, open Settings, then Payments, then Automatic payments, and cancel Nodal. You keep access until the paid period ends.

Does Lifetime ever renew?

No. Lifetime is a single $59 payment that keeps unlimited vectorizing on for good, with the same 500-images-a-month fair use as the plans.

Privacy and your files

Where are my designs kept?

In your own browser. The server processes each image and sends the result straight back without keeping a copy.

I cleared my browser and my library is gone.

Clearing site data removes the library, and we can't restore it because we never had a copy. Download anything you want to keep.
